The sea freight operation process is one of the main transportation methods in international trade, including consignment, booking, containerization, customs declaration loading, unloading, delivery notification, customs clearance, bill of lading, and delivery. These steps ensure that goods can be safely and efficiently transported from one place to another. Consignment is the starting point of the entire process, where the goods are handed over to the carrier and the freight is paid. Booking determines the specific location of the goods on the vessel for subsequent loading and unloading. Containerization involves packaging and labeling the goods for identification and transportation. Customs declaration loading refers to declaring the goods and loading them onto the vessel, which is an important part of customs supervision. Unloading refers to removing the goods from the vessel and transferring them to land for subsequent transportation. Delivery notification notifies the consignee that the goods have arrived and can be collected. Customs clearance involves completing customs clearance procedures to ensure that the goods comply with the requirements of the importing country. Bill of lading is the process of replacing the original shipping documents with new ones for subsequent transportation and delivery. Finally, delivery refers to the consignee collecting the goods and completing the entire transportation process.
